CRANE,
William Henry, of Sewell, NJ passed away peacefully at age 92 on November 16, 2024. Bill was born and raised in West New York, NJ on January 29, 1932. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Theresa (nee DeSimone) of Sewell, NJ and his loving children; William K. of Carney's Point, NJ, Helen (Bob) Howells of Milford, DE, David (Denise) of Blenheim, NJ and Lisa (Michael Sr.) Granroth of Magnolia, NJ., his grandchildren; Jennifer (Greg) DiLorenzo, Allison Granroth, Dayna (Shaun) Haughey, Danielle Crane, David W. Crane, Michael Granroth, Jr., and Ryan Granroth. Bill is also survived by his great grandchildren, Amelia, Natalie, Nolan and Avery along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, John Crane, Agnes (Crane) Murphy, Helen (nee Eagleson) Schulte and Joseph Eagleson.
Bill was a US Navy Veteran who served his country in the Korean Conflict and was then employed well into his eighties. For many years, Bill was a member of St. Agnes Church, Our Lady of Hope Parish, and member of the Knights of Columbus in Blackwood, NJ, and a member American Legion Post 281, Chews Landing, NJ. He enjoyed playing bingo with residents at Timber Creek Apts. in Clementon, NJ and was active in a bowling league in the 70's and 80's at La Martinique Bowling Center in Stratford, NJ.
Interment will be private at St. Joseph's Mausoleum, Blackwood, New Jersey.
