Stephen, age 69 of Gloucester Township (formerly of Blackwood Terrace), passed quietly at home on July 1, 2017. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mariellen “Merry” (nee Feeney). Steve is also survived by daughters, Margaret (David) Getler and Elizabeth Hryniw and granddaughters Taylor and Morgan Getler.
Steve lived his life on his terms. He loved hard and loved just as hard. He was a friend to anyone in need and will be missed. A former Navy man, who loved his beer, family and garden. He went to great lengths to make sure that all around him were comfortable and happy. His greatest joys were his granddaughters and his art.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, July 7 at 11:00 AM at the Camden County Veteran’s Cemetery at Harleigh, 1640 Haddon Avenue, Camden, NJ 08103 and invited to stop by the Blackwood family home at 564 Little Gloucester Road throughout the day.
