    WALKER,

    Richard W., Sr. of Stratford, NJ, age 89, passed away suddenly on March 24, 2018.  Richard was the dearly beloved husband of Joan (nee Jackob) for 67 years.  and was the loving father of daughter Joy, son Ronald (Michelle) and the late Richard, Jr. and Robert (Michele).  He was the loving grandfather of Richard III (Samantha) Stephanie, Brittney, Madison and Lauren, as well as, being the proud great grandfather of Richard IV. Mackenzie and Gabrielle.

    Richard was a graduate of Penns Grove High School, a chef serving in the US Navy who was honorably discharged, chef in “Walker’s” Restaurant in Wildwood and was employed for 40 years with Milden & White Seafood/Meat Co. in Philadelphia, Pa.  He was a lifetime member of the Stratford Fire Company (20 years) and for many years was a board worker for the Camden County Board of Elections.

    Richard deeply loved his family, enjoyed going deep sea fishing with son “Ron” and watching Eagles football.

    Services and interment are private at the convenience of the Walker family.
